    Paris Agreement on Climate Change

I know that! Just in my rant, I just used China as an example. I just needed a country for an example, and I picked China. That's the only reason why China was in my comment. Obama is a fucking dumbass.

I just used China as an example for my thinking on this. Good that China isn't paying into it.

    Paris Agreement on Climate Change

The Paris Accord is something that NO country should buy into. It's basically worthless. I'm not sure if you looked into it, but to me it's a very shady deal. There's no oversight, there's no enforcement, and basically if we pay into this thing, we are just dumping money into something that, doesn't make sense. Read this: "The level of NDCs set by each country[7] will set that country's targets. However the 'contributions' themselves are not binding as a matter of international law, as they lack the specificity, normative character, or obligatory language necessary to create binding norms.[14]Furthermore, there will be no mechanism to force[6] a country to set a target in their NDC by a specific date and no enforcement if a set target in an NDC is not met.[7][15] There will be only a "name and shame" system[16] or as János Pásztor, the U.N. assistant secretary-general on climate change, told CBS News (US), a "name and encourage" plan.[17] As the agreement provides no consequences if countries do not meet their commitments, consensus of this kind is fragile. A trickle of nations exiting the agreement may trigger the withdrawal of more governments, bringing about a total collapse of the agreement.[18]" Let me break this down. "The level of NDCs set by each country[7] will set that country's targets. However the 'contributions' themselves are not binding as a matter of international law, as they lack the specificity, normative character, or obligatory language necessary to create binding norms." So, say China said they would cut emissions by 50% by such a time. They promise it, but yet, there's nothing to bind them to that. "Furthermore, there will be no mechanism to force" Ok, so China say's they will cut emissions by 50% by such a time. They promised it, but yet with this agreement, they aren't under force to do this. "a country to set a target in their NDC by a specific date and no enforcement if a set target in an NDC is not met" Ok, so China never met there 50%. They're not forced to. There will be only a "name and shame" system[16] or as János Pásztor, the U.N. assistant secretary-general on climate change, told CBS News (US), a "name and encourage" plan Shame on China! Let's put your name on a wall of shame! BAD CHINA! As the agreement provides no consequences if countries do not meet their commitments It's okay China, you spend a bunch of money into this Paris Accord, and we love your money, but you didn't meet your 50%, and that's okay. Work harder next time and funnel more money into this, which won't help you at all. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (I only just used China as an example) Seriously, there is no reason to funnel money into something that 1. isn't enforced, and 2. there's no oversight. I agree with Trump pulling out of this. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paris_Agreement (Source)

Scott Pelley out at the CBS Evening News

Good. Pelly and his comments and his biased reporting was getting to be old.

    Leo Contoir: WBNG Story

Nothing, except for you only took part of my sentence, not all of it. There's nothing wrong with him being 70 and having a computer, but the problem is he has nothing better to do than be on it, and go on Facebook, and comment on all these news articles, argue with people, and comment things that he really has no clue as to what he's commenting about. Why's that Mulligan?

    Leo Contoir: WBNG Story

I blocked Leo on Facebook. I've had a few conversations about him with people, and they all just say he's an idiot and an instigator. Plus he's a 70 year old man with a computer and nothing better to do. SOMEONE NEEDS TO TAKE HIS KEYBOARD AWAY!!

    Entitled Driver

I find it funny how ya'll are on here bitching about what other people do....OH MY...someone with a NY Senate plate was going fast on 88! However, what I don't see is anyone saying anything about people speeding in construction zones...17 East and West is 45mph for the highway upgrade, but I don't see anyone complaining that traffic goes thru there a lot faster than 45....but oh man, see a NY Senate vehcle going fast on the highway, gotta make a big deal about that!
  10. This is a bullshit lawsuit...the guy attacked DW Smith in his own patrol car, and this guy took Smith's gun and shot him...there's no way the police even had a chance to contain Clark when Clark had never even allowed the officer to get out of his car. And when the 2nd officer arrived to the scene, and was being shot at by Clark, the 2nd officer had every right to shoot back to defend himself. I hope the judge who see's this throw's this lawsuit right out.

guns and ammo allowed in baggage....

That wouldn't work, because I know a lot of states won't sell ammo to people from New York. So that makes for an issue.
