The BCSA is a nice recreactional league, but none of the teams in it have a chance to do anything outside of Broome County. Local teams draw local talent and that talent level is below average on the state scale. The better teams, players, and most definately coaches participate in either Upstate Travel, Upstate Premier Leagues or Region I or WAPS. However, it's good for clubs like Hiawatha, SRU, Vestal Extreme, and BC United who participate for recreational purposes and can't compete at the state level. As for Bill Campbell, it's not ironic that one of the worst referees in the area, who has limited knowledge of the game at best, runs this league. The BCSA is a direct reflection of him.
