If they fall into the working poor category we are far better off giving them a refund than push them into the welfare system. One thing that needs to be eliminated is tax exemptions for children. The country is far beyond the need for a population increase, so why are we encouraging people to have more babies. Eliminate this … … AND cap welfare payments for dependents. You have more babies, tough shit, no more $. But, free sterilization for all. Maybe we should even reward welfare mothers who already have kids a cash bonus for getting sterilized. I support the exemption for children. History shows that once the reproduction falls below a certain level the social oranization takes a nose dive.
