For 8 years he's made the argument that both Democrats and Republicans have served Binghamton wrong, and that as an Independent he is the right choice. Well, now that he's a Republican, he's hardly the "independent choice" anymore. In 2005 Drazen made a huge case to Republican voters on how Naima Kradjian couldn't be trusted because she had only been a Republican for a couple years. Why should they trust Doug who just changed his party affiliation last November, simply to run for mayor? Binghamton University is the driving force of this community. Where has Doug been this entire time? At least Rich David through his role at BCC and Teri Rennia through her role on city council have been part of this process. It's interesting that Doug is all over the internet spewing hatred and reasons not to vote for Rich or Teri and not a single reason to vote FOR him. Because there aren't any. "At least Rich David", what? I didn't quite catch that, you were talking about, "at least Rich David", was what? Come again with what "at least Rich David" was, is, or ever was. Are you sure now? If only he had been elected mayor in 2009. None of this would have happened.
