Outreach is ongoing, defense and support rendered, petitions carried and signed. All pertinent questions will be answered.

That's a lie, Dougie. You never carried a petition for Papastrat, Mihalko or Matzo when they ran for city council in 2011. You've never written any op-eds or blog posts in support of those three either over the past couple of years. You cast a lot of stones at other candidates and office holders, but you are no better. A liar and an egocrentric like all the rest of them!

Papastrat has never done anything worth supporting or getting excited about. He's about as exciting and inspiring as an infected boil. The city is a mess...what have any of those three done to mitigate anything being done by Ryan?

They're half-hearted, tepid "loyal opposition"...biding their time until they can "get one of their guys in there."

Impertinent point on misinterpreted response. Petitions have been carried and signed for local Republican candidates, as well as defense and support provided. There are ranking party officials and former officials with first hand knowledge. Outreach is ongoing.

The last two Republican mayoral candidates had insufficient campaign work ethic. All pathetic excuses and pathologically dishonest accounts aside, that is why they lost, and no other reason. Binghamton Republicans who want to win in 2013 need a candidate with proven campaign work ethic in a city wide race.

To win the 2013 mayor's race, Binghamton Republicans need a candidate that can carry the base, as well as win Independents/unaffiliateds and some Democrats.

DWD, I agree that, to win the 2013 mayor's race, Binghamton Republicans need a candidate that can carry the base. But you need to understand, the Republican base in the city wonders why you haven't been openly supportive of Matzo, Mihalko and Papastrat on the current city council. Let's be honest, in the small pool that is the Republican party within the city, Matzo, Mihalko and Papastrat and their fans ARE the base. Since you've not proven yourself to be a good teammate of those three recently, the base is going to be skeptical about claims for their support in 2013.

Do you want some advice, DWD? Stop by the Park Diner. Stop by Matzo's sign shop on Homer Street. Call Mihalko some afternoon. If you are serious about wanting to run as a REPUBLICAN, you need to reach out to those three... NOW. Talking to the 20 people in the echo chamber that is BCVoice is not going to get you the nomination.

Which local Republican officials did you carry petitions for, Dougie? Give me one name that can be verified. I'm convinced you're a liar like all the other politicians around here.

Drazen dose not have the support of the Republican Party, elected officials or the committee members. He will lose the primary, run as an independent and hand us 8 years of Ryan Teri.
