Bill Clinton - Father of the year

Sure, he's an adulterer. Does that alone make him a bad father? Based on how his daughter turned out, I'd say he was a pretty good Dad.

Google Noella Bush.

WOW! HOT DAMN FRIGGIN WOW!!!!!

Using a neutral source of information like Google you came up with another version of "Bush Done It". You are incredible!

Now back to Topic Title;

If Yasser Arafat and Barack Hussein obama can win a Nobel Peace Prize anything is possible. There is even talk now of having Bill Clinton do a car commercial for the re-vitalized hummers.

Bill Clinton just won Father of the Year?? Chelsea is like 32!!

Maybe I can win "80's African American of the Decade"??

WTF?

One must never forget, in the world of Leftists Reality is a seldom used option in life. Some are still arguing that Bill not Barack was our first black White House resident.

Zing! There goes my point, right over your head.

To get more elementary: It ain't "Bush done it". Duh. Noella was the niece of GWB, not his daughter.

Point: the sins of the fathers and mothers don't pass down to their offspring. Pretty simple concept, really.

Ok, try another one: Google Ted Turner. Read specifically about his worthless, crap father.

Get back to me when you understand the point please.

And just for the record, the name "Wanker" was not my choice. I chose something else but they wouldn't let me use it.

Although Wanker does have a nice tongue-in-cheek ring to it. But there I go, getting over your head again with my non-linear humor.

Yeah, this one perplexes me too.

How can someone be "Father Of The Year" when they have one child who has been out of the house well over a decade if not the entire 21st Century? She's 33 years old. How often do they even see each other in the course of the last 365 days? What has Bill done with/for Chelsea the past year that warrants him getting this honor over so many others (including famous people).

I just do not get it. I mean, the CURRENT President has to have been more of a father figure/provider/influence etc to his two children the past year than Bill Clinton has to 33 year-old Chelsea.

I just do not get it.

Apparently, the award committee "each year confers Father of the Year Honors on contemporary lifestyle leaders of our culture whose lives are dedicated to family, citizenship, charity, civility, responsibility and reverence", so it has little to do with individual parenting in a given year.

He wouldn't be my first choice, either, but the adultery? Eh. I've known people who were rotten husbands and great fathers, great husbands and rotten fathers, and I've known people who followed all the rules and did everything technically "right" by all appearances but had simultaneously been self-serving, manipulative psychological terrorists who had made life hell for the people who depended on them, yet when it blew up, they managed to make it look like their wife and kids were the problems because they'd never really done anything clearly evil for anyone to point to. His daughter seems to have turned out in life and seems to have a good relationship with both her parents, so he probably did OK as a dad.

It's sad, but if we wrote off all the sketchy fathers *and* the sketchy husbands, there probably wouldn't be enough qualified dads left over to justify having the holiday.

I've known plenty of people who had degenerate parents that turned out ok too.

Stupid award that clearly misses what we should be teaching the Youth of America about parenting.

The Cigar jokes are stupid too, you can do better than 90's jokes at this rate.

The story would really matter is Chelsea turned out to be a complete mess.

PRESIDENT'S DAUGHTER WITH EVERY ADVANTAGE IN THE WORLD TURNS TO DRUGS AND PORN.

It isn't news and shows how disconnected society really is with politics and the media.

Who is/are Bill Clinton's child(ren). It has long been rumored that Webb Hubbell is Chelsea's father. She looks just like Webb.

Remember he told Juanitta Brodderick after he finished with her, that she would not have to worry about being pregnant because he had mumps and it made him sterile.

Lop off the East and West coast, odds are any father you pick in what's left would qualify as a good dad.
