You highlight that game on your TV and it does not state who the teams are anymore, rather some description of the game. For this one is says:"Quarterback Taylor Heinecke and the Monarchs (21) head to Houston Texas to take on quarterback Driphus Jackson and the Owls (0-2)"Now, quick. everyone, what colleges are playing in that game? I happen to know that the "Owls" in Houston Texas is likely Rice (and it is), but who among us knows who the Monarchs are?It happens to be Old Dominion.TWC is trying to be hip I guess, but they are leaving out basic info for those who do not know EVERYTHING. They do this for all sports and all levels. Sometimes they name the colleges, often they do not. (later on MSG, the "Chippewas" take on the Jayhawks...somebody vs whom I suspect is Kansas (Jayhawks)) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
