Double Standard in the BPD, SIU Investigator arrested in Ocean City and gets 10 day Suspension

Many in the BPD are very upset that a few weeks back that BPD SIU Investigator Robert Burnett was arrested in Ocean City, Maryland and received only a 10 day suspension from Chief Zikuski. Burnett was charged with the Maryland version of Disorderly Conduct and Criminal mischief and rumor has it he damaged an Ocean City Police vehicle after his arrest.

District Attorney Mollen as well as the US Attorneys office want to keep a lid on this as Burnett is a key witness in several up coming drug trials. Local media has been contacted and requested not to report the incident . Recently Burnett was in a bar and was saying his visits to Zikuski when Zikuski was put on leave really paid off for him.

Hard to believe 10 days for this type of misconduct and other Officers that are not part of the Zikuski inner circle get much more time off for a lot less. Remember Zikuski just tried to fire Kristi Sager for a traffic violation off duty.

Hate to report on this but it's all true. BCVoice has learned Burnett was fighting and made threats to the Ocean City Police officer's. We also have learned there is a body cam video of the incident that the Gerry Mollen is keeping a tight lid on along with the Cities Admin. He also damaged a Ocean City Patrol Vehicle.

 

Chief Zikuski and Mollen are well aware of the incident which happened in late August of this year. Zikuski went after to fire Kristy Sager for a accident off duty then give's this officer a 10 day suspension. He keeps his SIU detail and SWAT team detail as well. He is now at Fort drum for swat training for a week.

 

Gerry Mollen is well aware of this incident and is keeping it from the public. He shows the level of Corruption with him and his office.

And your surprised this happened? Bob Burnett is another Catholic Central classmate of Zikuski and the gang. The Catholic Central thug mentality and corruption is in fine form. I am sure Bobby, Barbie Gerry, Zeek and and the CC gang got a big laugh out of it. I wouldn't laugh to hard gang. Your luck may be running out.

The MEDIA in this area does what the're told instead of what's right. The days of honest reporting by WBNG and other's including the Binghamton Press is just a JOKE!

 

Just like Conrad Taylor running for office against John Cordisco.

 

This Kid Conrad Taylor breaks election laws and doesn't get interviewed by the Media for breaking the law? Or Gerry Mollen doesn't even do his job of looking into the matter and having a comment to the Media.

 

A serious incident by this kid Conrad Taylor and is getting special treatment by Gerry Mollen and Media who by the way are both supported by the dirty politics group Citizen Action! FACT!

It should be noted several years back then Officer Burnett while in a State Street Tavern picked up a bar stool and struck one of his friends over the head with it. The guy who was struck required hospital treatment as a result. This guy seems like a perfect fit to be on a SWAT team. What's next a promotion for him?

 

What other Police Department locally do you see any type of behavior like this on a steady basis. BPD can't go more then 2 months without some major scandal. One would think it would occur to Mayor David that this is a result of poor leadership.

 

I have an idea for Mayor David that would bring in some revenue to the City where the BPD is concerned, Mayor David should buy a really big tent rename the BPD to Ringling Brothers, David and Zikuski and sell tickets because the BPD has really become one of the greatest shows on earth.

Not only is this guy still a member of the BPD Swat Team but he also is currently training new officers who are fresh out of the academy. Here is a guy who has a history of being a loose cannon gets arrested and is now training new officers, makes perfect sense in BPD land. There is not another male officer in the BPD that could show up at work to work patrol unshaven with hair looking the way Burnetts looks. Any other officer would be sent home and rightly so. And they tried to fire Kristi Sager over a traffic violation.
