The neighbor next door, 6 foot 3, 285 lbs needs a fix and decides that grandma is the easiest target. He kicks in her door. Grandma isn't going to jujitsu him. The only thing that can stop the 285 pound junkie is a gun. Until someone can tell me how grandma can defend herself, without a gun, we will need the 2nd Amendment. The guy is saying that until all guns can be eliminated (never), everyone should have them. He's fully cognizant of the fact that he might as well say "when pigs fly" instead of "until we get rid of all guns" - that's precisely the point.
