Officer Al
Thank you BCV for approving my account and the great work you do here. I'm a long time reader and first time poster. Big controversy inside the BPD and city hall. It was discovered when Asst. Chief David Eggleston met with city officials on his retirement, Chief Zikuski and Asst. Chiefs Eggleston and Yeager have been working less than their required 40 hours a week, for about 8 years. The three stooges claim their positions are 35 hour a week, when they are actually 40 hour a week jobs. It is believed this has been going on since 2010. At approximately $55 an hour, Chief Zikuski owes the city well over $100,000 in stolen time. The two Asst. Chiefs make around $50 an hour, and they owe over $100,000 as well, for a total of well over $300,000 stolen by Zikuski, Yeager and Eggleston. You Never Know
Watch and see the huge payouts these three receive from the taxpayers of the City of Binghamton. Hopefully someone other then their boozing buddy Rich David has oversight in this matter. City Council should involve themselves in this because after all it is the money of the taxpayers. Years of sick time , comp time , vacation they have been sitting on and they are going to want money for it all. Don't be surprised if part of the deal is a mutually agreed upon gag order much like the Sager ordeal which cost the taxpayers plenty.
