BCVoice officially endorses John Solak for Binghamton School Board. John has a track record of commitment to all of Broome County, and all of the tax payers and students of our school districts. John is a watchdog for all activities, but at the same time keeps students' best interests in mind. For too long spending has escalated with no accountability for tax payers. We here at BCVoice want the best possible schools for the children of Binghamton (and every school district) but we also want the proper guidance and input at school board meetings. John is an advocate for open government, we know he will watch out for the tax payers as well as the students. For these reasons, for the first time in six years, BCVoice officially endorses a candidate for office: JOHN SOLAK for BINGHAMTON SCHOOL BOARD! These signs are the teachers union signs. They paid for them and put them up. This has been going on for a few years. It started here in Vestal and spread to M-E, Binghamton and across the state. NYSUT is behind the push. The teachers union bankrolls the signs then do phone banking to promote their hand-picked candidates and play on the sympathy of the school parents to get votes.
