Call everyone you know in the Binghamton school district, which includes Sunrise Terrace, and urge them to get that vote for Solak in, if they haven’t done it already. What they were doing tonight was not actual counting, but the process of getting ready to count, by opening the envelopes in alphabetical order, and depositing the ballots in separate lock boxes, presumably to preserve each vote’s anonymity. At the pace that process was going around 7P, with none of the 8 precinct rooms past the letter D, they had a solid 6-8 hours to go. Status quo’s fear and loathing of Solak definitely intense enough that some attempt at undue influence can’t be totally ruled out, especially if it is close.
