Rioting & Looting Is Nonviolent. It's Simply "Redistributing Wealth"

The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) of Broward County admitted in a training session for George Floyd protesters Wednesday that they support looting and rioting:

“I firmly believe that quote unquote looting and rioting is nonviolent,” said one of the participants on the DSA call. “That’s my personal belief. I think that we need to change the narrative.”

“I still, and a lot of our groups, still actually support and stand in solidarity for people who are taking those actions. So it’s so important to change the language to say uprisings, to say redistributing wealth, and not recreate this narrative of peaceful versus violent, because we know who the true violent people are. They are police. And we are responding to that. So just want to make sure folks are clear on that.”

Looting and rioting is uprising and redistribution of wealth. Got it. Silence is violence...mmmm not so fast. I have to shut up while they annihilate business any time they feel like it? Well, I see COB and one other municipality has received funding to increase the police force. I think that money should be used to form a local regulated civil patrol/militia to take down any UPRISINGS. Then we'll see how violent you think the police are.

Bad idea. If anything, boost funding for law enforcement professionals. We don't need a bunch of untrained nutballs with guns carrying out vigilante actions. You say ""regulated civil patrol/militia".  It takes months to train a soldier properly, let alone Billy-Bob the part-time militia guy.

Amazing.  Any talk of white people being part of a militia - BAD.

Replacing police with a "community peace force" - ie, a black militia - GOOD.

Where have I seen this before?  Oh, that's right. The self-designated citizen police forces implemented in Muslim communities in the US and in other Western countries.

Sweetheart I'm talking about in addition to police but as you can see the new narrative includes defunding of local police. Ok well don't get mad when we transform our tax payer funded local police force into a privatized mercenary group. Is that what you want, private police that you can't control? The Mafia? We could go that route too.
