Joe Morgan RIP

Recommended Posts

jpeg
No bigger fan of the Big Red Machine than me. I was rooting for them in 1976. Then they got stupid and traded Perez and the machine was no more.  Any kid playing baseball in the 70’s and 80’s imitated his signature arm flap.

So we've lost Joe Morgan, Whitey Ford, Lou Brock, Tom Seaver, Bob Gibson, Al Kaline and Don Larsen all in the same year. 2020 can just go fuck itself right up the ass.

Not HOF'ers but Jim Wynn (Toy Cannon), Don Larsen and Tony Fernandez all passed this year as well and were exceptional ballplayers in their prime.
