Hollie Levine and her mentor, disgraced Family Court Judge Herbert Ray

Hollie Levine called into WNBF today to tout her "experience" for Family Court. She mentioned working for her mentor Herbert Ray.  What she didn't mention is they were involved in the biggest Family Court scandal in Broome County history, when Judge Ray engaged in a scheme to defraud the State of New York when he assigned Family Court law guardianship to his small group of attorney friends, at the expense of NY taxpayers.  Being a law guardian can be quite lucrative, and these scoundrels reported as many hours as they wanted, all under the watch of their pal.. Herb Ray.  And you better believe they paid Ray back with campaign donations.

The Ray/Levine scheme also resulted in the 42 count indictment of former JC Mayor Ed Boncek, who was one of the law guardians appointed by Judge Ray.

Family Court has enough problems right now. Steve Cornwell cleaned up Mollen’s mess and he fought the drug issue harder than anyone. We’ve seen what he can do. He’s the right person for the job, hands down.

Her campaign was over the second she opened her mouth in her television ad. So annoying! She reminds me of the neighbor we always avoid, and keep driving, if she is outside, so we don’t have to talk to her.

Don’t forget, Levine wasn’t endorsed by her own union, PEF. They endorsed Cornwell instead.  Those who know and work with Levine don’t have anything good to say about her.

I cannot say I know much about Levine.....................but what I have heard is not good!!

I do know Steve Cornwell and what a great job he did as the District Attorney.

I think that she knows that she will not win in November.  A last minute TV blitz will not be as effective as they were in the past.  Many people have voted by now.

She is posturing for the next 2 races.  She has put $90K into her campaign.  She still has about $42K left.  I think she is saving that up to run for Miller's seat or there are rumors Connerton will not run again in 2021.

Having a chunk of money "in the bank" may scare off future challengers.
