"In September of 2019, we became energy independent, a net exporter of hydrocarbons. We created millions of jobs across the country and filled the coffers of states with billions in tax dollars.

We also kept gas and electricity affordable for every American family. Plus, there was a trillion-dollar swing in our favor, money was kept here rather than spent over there."

Gas is cheap right now.  It went up to almost $5 a gallon under Obama who is on record stating that energy prices must increase for some unexplained reason.

Can anyone explain how higher gas costs are a benefit?

They aren't. The price of everything will go up and people will be out of work and out of business. More people on welfare is not a good idea. It certainly isn't good for me. I saw California is trying to mandate all electric vehicles...in Sunny Cali that may work but in upstate NY with our weather? Rain snow humidity and electricity just doesn't work. We have enough problems with the computers in our cars.

Bob Joseph is going on about people being tired of President Trump. I'm not. Funny thing...the more I listen to President Trump the more convinced I am he must be related to my Aunt Frances. They look and sound so much alike. I'm sorry I never knew a lot about her upbringing. She met my uncle after WWII. They both worked for the Port Authority.

Biden is the Swamp candidate. So is Brindisi. I don't want the Swamp back. Or BLM or AOC and her squad either.

Unfortunately, AOC is a rock star among millennials and because of her use of social media she reaches out to many people who really care little about anything other than their cell phones.  I have a bad feeling that AOC and her squad will get re-elected for another 2 year term.  It is going to take a wake up call when income taxes and gasoline taxes start to increase under their New Green Deal.  And I hope it won't be too late to turn back after that.

Biden said last night he would transition from the oil industry. How? China makes 80% of all solar panels. We were hostage to OPEC before Trump made us oil independent. Now Joe wants us held hostage to China solar supply chain.

He said he wants 50,000 car charging stations along the US highways. Imagine the lines. And where's that electricity going to come from? And to produce these batteries makes more pollutants than fuel efficient engines.

Seems solar and wind are  suited to residential use and remote locations. Solar and wind farms take up a lot of space for the amount of energy they produce.

I totally agree with you.  Individuals putting Solar on their roofs and then using batteries for storage is the way to go.

Also having a backup generator is good, for the times we have no sun for days.

Joe said during debate he wants plexiglas dividers between patrons in bars/restaurants. Ummm, plexiglas is a petroleum product. I'm pro environment but let's make sense please. As an aside, about 30 yrs ago Switzerland was completely powered by hydro-electric. But turbines and system became too expensive to maintain and replace. Don't think it'a a good idea to just wing it. Need a comprehensive plan of maintenance, replacement and disposal, imo.

And the stampede to all electric. Why? Seems hybrid makes more sense at this time. And fuel efficient cars/trucks. Wouldn't need 50k charging stations that Joe wants. All electric I can see for large urban areas but not coast to coast.  And the electric vehicles are expensive.

Airplanes will be powered by rubber bands.

That would be a waste of rubber bands. We need to harness an energy source that is naturally occurring, abundant, and free - hot air from politicians. It's emitted by 2 orifices - the top one during election season and the bottom one thereafter. Odd that they have 2 sources since the output is the same.

The Dems will tax gasoline very heavy. That's why $6 a gal. is not far fetched at all. Think of the ripple effect on prices. Few will be able to afford American goods. This will be another boom for China courtesy of their puppet Biden.

Very true, Thomas.  We haven’t seen anything yet.
