Vote Meaney and Saroka for JC Trustee. Vote against anti-police activist Reynolds

Recommended Posts

This year for JC Trustee, you get two votes.

Marty Meaney has done a fine job representing Johnson City. He has been a JC Trustee for a couple terms.  He is a well known and trusted member of the village.  He is a retired Johnson City Firefighter.

Greg Saroka worked for over 20 years as a Johnson City Police Officer.   He was a detective for approximately 15 years and was assigned to the NYS Police Narcotics Task Force for approximately 8 years.  Since his retirement from JCPD he has led loss prevention at Wegmans, and does an excellent job.

Benjamin Reynolds is a kid with no job or real life experience.  He doesn’t own a home, and has no financial stake in the village.  He is more concerned with his liberal national agenda than the real issues facing the residents of JC. He marches in BLM protests, shouting “F*ck the police!”

You have two candidates who have worked their entire lives as public servants for JC, and you have a misinformed liberal activist, with no accomplishments or experience, who is running again for office to bring up national issues, that have nothing to do with the quality of life in JC.

Absolutely. Saroka is someone any board would be lucky to have. This is a great opportunity for JC to elect someone with integrity and an honorable background.

Meaney has done a fine job and deserves another term.

Reynolds needs to get out of his parents basement, get a job and experience the real world. Try running again in 10 years. His anti law enforcement views are not appreciated or welcome in JC.

Yeah. Let’s give a kid who has never paid a bill in his life a major say on an annual $30 million village budget. If Johnson City voters are dumb enough to vote for Benjamin Reynolds, then they deserve him.

I don’t live in JC, or the JC school district, but just my two cents.

Between the tax assessment of the Oakdale Mall, PILOT agreement on the old Sears building, and financial challenges from Covid that will loom over JC for years, now is not the time to take a chance on some kid.

I get it, it was a cutesy little Make A Wish project. Two years ago, voters gave him an opportunity to be a young voice for a declining village. Well, it’s run its course, and now it’s time to bring the adults back.

Looks like boy wonder may be out the door in JC. He is in third place in a three way race where only two candidates win.

Sorry, Benjamin but there is a bright side to this. You now have more time to devote to anti-police causes and to BLM. I hear Talon Thomas is in need of a confidant.
