Huge lines to early vote today in Broome County. Good sign for Republicans?

I've heard three of the four early voting sites in Broome County have huge lines to early vote today, on the first day of early voting.   I got coffee at the Dunkin Donuts on Reynolds Road just now, and the parking lot was packed at the mall.  WBNG showed a long line at the downtown Library, and I heard there was also a big line at CCE on Front Street. It will probably die down as the week goes on, but I've got to think this is a good sign for Republican, who more than Democrats have vowed to vote in person.

I voted at the Endicott library, waited for 45 minutes. I’ve never waited that long in my life.

not sure if it is a good sign for Republicans or not but to me it sure points out that there are a lot of people who have already made up their minds.  Just another example of how polarized we are these days.  Also when i went to the Endicott Library around 4:30 today the poll workers said that earlier in the day there was a 2 hour wait.

There are something like 111 polling locations in Broome County.  Squashing those people who want to vote into 4 locations will cause excessive waiting times.

I saw the line at the mall.  Glad to see people motivated enough to wait in the rain like that.  Definitely no voter apathy in that group.

I read some people waited as long as three hours yesterday. I’m overweight and don’t think I can stand for more than 20 minutes.

A lot of folks are like me: EV lines are too damn long to wait, especially if you have a job. Just imagine if capacity was better manageable.

Had a personal day today from work so I decided to go vote downtown, waited 1 hour 45 minutes in line to vote. Never waited that long before, I'd say longest ever was maybe 15 minutes.
