> Reporters, GOP Lawmakers Criticize DHS Media Ban At Border

NBC’s Jacob Soboroff sounded off in a similar tune, saying the Trump administration let in reporters despite negative press against his immigration policies...Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (R) called the move outrageous and unacceptable. He added the DHS even blocked a request for the reporters to document his planned trip to the border next week with 15 other senators.

Personally I favor immigration. If it's legal.

Ken Paxton to Newsmax: Open Border Situation Would Allow Terrorist Network

The threat of terrorism may be as close to home as the U.S.-Mexico border, where people from 150 different countries have been crossing, unvetted, into the United States, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton warned on Newsmax Thursday after the deadly terrorist bombing at the Kabul airport in Afghanistan.

Paxton on Thursday also talked about the Supreme Court's decision to uphold the Trump-era remain in Mexico policy.

"It should help us immensely," said Paxton. "The court has now ordered (Biden) to follow federal law, which he refused to follow that policy that was implemented by President Trump. It was immensely successful in reducing the number of people coming across the border."

 Border Crisis Worsening

A huge influx of people suddenly crossed the border from Mexico and congregated under and around a bridge in Del Rio, TX. Del Rio Mayor Bruno Lozano said Saturday evening there were 14,534 migrants at the camp under the bridge.

More than 10,000  Haitian migrants are sheltering under that  bridge in Del Rio as part of a new surge of migration to that stretch of the border. There have also been major increases of Ecuadorians, Venezuelans and other nationalities outside the traditional sending countries of Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.

Something else...I saw the photos.

I honestly don't know how the United States can continue on the trajectory the Biden administration is travelling. It's going to take decades to undo all the trouble they've caused in less than a year. Unfortunately we have no one to protect us now since the military has gone AWOL.

Well here we are.  Texans want a sub-rice sized embryo to have full rights at six weeks but beat a 20 year old viable human with reins and charge horses over them.  Make a fricken choice.  Is all life important or not?

Personally, I'm all for dogs, land-mines and machine gun fields of fire at the borders.  It's foolish to "re-transport" invadors back at great expense to try again.  Maybe give them an exit half-way home at 20,000 feet?  Better than plastics in the ocean for world nutrition. 😉

Chop off a foot and see if they have the heart for twosies.

Lies... Nobody got touched by any reins. Fact. Nobody was run over by a horse. Fact. Protecting our border is a noble thing. Entering the USA illegally should never be allowed, imo. Following the chaos of Afghanistan is more shocking chaos on our southern border. We all remember the chaos of last summer as well as the election chaos.

Who is sponsoring this chaotic Haitian caravan?

I saw some of the photos of border patrol on horses...those didn't look like whips to me. Furthermore, the sad sob story was they left the encampment to go back to Mexico for food water and diapers...all I saw was styrofoam containers of take out food.

Where are they getting the money for takeout? The people I saw were clothed, had jewelry and cell phones. I understand they want to work and the jobs in Haiti are limited but they need to come through the front door like everyone else.

So they are polluting the Rio Grande with their styrofoam, diapers, and all sorts of other waste. And now (Biden has brought back "catch and release") they are being jetted all across the USA. Who is paying for that? Didn't we spend Billions upon Billions in Hatey a few years ago? Now this? If the immigration laws are not being followed by this administration Biden should be impeached and removed from office.

More than 50,000 people have crossed the Colombia-Panama border so far this year making their way north. In the town of Necocli on the northern coast of Colombia, some 19,000 mainly Haitian migrants are waiting for seats on boats.

Tens of thousands more migrants are stranded in the southern Mexican city of Tapachula, waiting for documents that would allow them to continue north.

"We're desperate," said 28-year-old Maximil Marcadieu.
