Judge orders hospital to give Covid patient ivermectin

On Aug. 1, Jeffrey Smith was intubated and placed on a ventilator. His condition worsened on Aug. 3. By Aug. 19, Jeffrey Smith’s chances of survival dropped below 30 percent.

Looking for treatments to save her husband, Julie Smith requested the hospital administer ivermectin, which was prescribed to her husband by Fred Wagshul, an Ohio doctor who told the Ohio Capital Journal it was akin to “genocide” to not use the drug in Covid-19 treatment. The hospital refused.

On Aug. 23, Butler County Judge J. Gregory Howard ordered West Chester Hospital to treat Smith with ivermectin for three weeks, as requested by his wife. On Tuesday, her lawyer told The Washington Post that Jeffrey Smith is alive but did not elaborate on his condition. He will be on the ivermectin treatment for three weeks.

Good riddance. She's North Carolina's problem now.
Maybe Garner can find an actual doctor who's willing to talk about ALL solutions to this phony pandemic, and promote the use of HCQ/Zinc and Ivermectin, rather than just psychotically pushing vaccines and worthless masks. Better yet, why doesn't Garner accompany her to NC and we can begin the search for two sane, reasonable people who aren't on small town power trips.

The 2015 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine was awarded to the scientists whose discoveries led to Ivermectin.

" Today the Avermectin-derivative Ivermectin is used in all parts of the world that are plagued by parasitic diseases. Ivermectin is highly effective against a range of parasites, has limited side effects and is freely available across the globe. "

Aug. 6...West Chester Hospital is not required to give a man ivermectin as a form of treatment for COVID-19, Common Pleas Court Judge Michael A. Oster Jr. ruled Monday.

Judge Oster based his ruling on the lack of evidence showing ivermectin is likely to succeed in treating COVID-19, according to court documents. Jonathan Davidson, one of Julie Smith's attorneys, in an email on Monday. "I know this was a decision that Judge Oster did not take lightly. Fortunately, Mr. Smith was able to receive 14 days of treatment of Ivermectin, during which time his condition did improve."

Oster said Smith can be safely moved to a hospital where Wagshul (Smith's ivermectin prescribing physician) has privileges if continued use of Ivermectin is desired.

74-year-old COVID patient dies amid his family's push for Houston Memorial Hermann to give him ivermectin.
His family, who has been appealing with Memorial Hermann to administer won a court order Sept. 3 for the hospital to treat him with ivermectin. Despite the ruling, Lopez still has not received the drug, according to his family.

Lopez's granddaughter, Gabrielle Snider said Lopez was previously prescribed ivermectin by VA Medical Center, but he was admitted to the hospital before he was able to take it. "He had the prescription with him at the hospital and the doctors knew that," Snider told Eyewitness News on Sunday. "We have been asking them to administer it since day one."
Pete Lopez of Richmond had been at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land for almost a month battling COVID-19. According to his family, he was put on a ventilator on Aug. 19.

I just read the article...I hope the family gets his charts and lets us all read them. I'd really like to see what happened here besides the families wishes and a court order being refused. Does the judge have any recourse for his order not being followed? Can't he put them in jail for contempt and I don't know. charge them with manslaughter or something..wreckless endangerment?

I don't understand why it took someone like Joe Rogan to get COVID to suddenly get everyone's attention. Dr. Vladimir Zelenko first started talking about cheap, readily available medications for this China flu in MARCH 2020. They suppressed information and availability of drugs to treat COVID and are forcing vaccines and masks on people based on NO science whatsoever. We're letting ourselves be slapped around and we're going to regret it.

From the comments section of this outstanding article. From the author herself.

Thanks to everyone for your responses and insights. I am saddened by the ways in which media and government continue to demonize ivermectin. They are instilling fear while rejecting science and the experiences of patients and practitioners. Shame on them. —Mary Beth

Are we sure Tamiflu doesn't work for covid? I recall initially they said it doesn't bind to the right receptor however...

Last night someone was telling me they came down with the worst headache and body aches of their life. He didn't know if he had the flu or covid but he did have a prescription for Tamiflu and took it.

He said the symptoms disappeared 4 hours after taking the first dose. He fell asleep and when he woke up they were back in full force. Same happened with the second dose. The third dose and following doses q12 hrs...each time the symptoms were decreased. After 4 days , eight doses it didn't come back.

He says as soon as he can he's going to get tested for covid antibodies because if he's got the natural immunity now, he can stop worrying so much.

I have 2 people in mind for this job and contacted both about it. They will not give you what you want regarding covid...they don't think outside the box, nevertheless, both very professional. One is a local nurse with public health experience in another state. Good teaching skills because afterall , public health is about teaching the general public.

The other choice is from another county. He's quite personable and pragmatic, good analyst, critical thinking skills. No nonsense kind of guy.

I am sure that Jason has already picked the person to be in charge.  HE has a lot of supporters to pay back after the election.

How Ivermectin Saved Louis Gossett Jr. from Dying of COVID-19

https%3A%2F%2Fbucketeer-e05bbc84-baa3-437e-9518-adb32be77984.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Fea5c9c3c-f4fb-44fd-b21a-79da6e189691_4032x2149.jpeg

Dr. Bruce Boros with Louis Gossett Jr. in Atlanta at Gossett’s 85th birthday party on May 27. “Any particular reason you want me to come up?” Boros asked when he got the invitation. “I wouldn’t be having a birthday party if you hadn’t saved my life,” Gossett replied.

No mention if molnupiravir prevents Covid like Ivermectin can. Merck's focus for prevention is their vaccine.

Merck makes Ivermectin btw. Now they have a new Covid pill called molnupiravir, ahem.

"Merck stock surged Friday after the company said its Covid pill reduced the risk of hospitalization or death by 1/2 in final phase study."

Early indications are that Merck's new Covid pill may not be as effective as Ivermectin...

Another problem with the new drug is you have to have it available at the onset of symptoms...just like Tamiflu or Abreva, or any other antiviral. Good luck finding a doctor to give you the script so you can have it in the house. So if you wake up sick in the middle of the night, you're waiting till morning to go to the walk in or trying to get fit in with your own MD...then waiting in the office, then..if you can get a script, you're waiting for it to be filled...that's an entire day wasted. People are not going to do that. They will go into denial and go to work.

You have to be able to get these drugs on demand...the same way you can purchase Abreva if you feel a cold sore coming on.

Seems they would provide nursing homes, hospitals, and Covid test sites so that they can be given immediately for Covid positives. They must have a plan in mind to dispence.

According to Dr. Pierre Kory, a medical doctor who has touted vaccine-alternate treatments to COVID-19, "100-200" members of Congress have been treated with medications like ivermectin, and none have gone to the hospital.

"Fun fact," Kory tweets, "between 100-200 United States Congress Members (plus many of their staffers & family members) with COVID.. were treated by a colleague over the past 15 months with ivermectin & the I-MASK+ protocol at http://flccc.net. None have gone to hospital. Just sayin'"
