CDC Recommends States Give Everyone Over 65 the Coronavirus Vaccine

The CDC notes that as of Tuesday, just 9 million of the 25 million doses of coronavirus vaccine that were sent to states have been administered, with most states still focused on vaccinating essential workers and those over the age of 75.

Speaking on Fox News Network, Abbott said allowing people age 65 and up to receive the vaccine, as well as opening mass vaccination centers, permitted Texas to vaccinate more than 1.1 million Texans, and administer more than 61 percent of the vaccines allocated to Texas.

I do wonder how safe this vaccine really is, and to what extent it has been tested in an elderly population. These are questions we are never likely to find the answers to, given the world we live in. Norway has concluded that it is unsafe for people over the age of 80:
