John Solak has emails confirming Binghamton City School District employees used school resources on school time to campaign against him last year for a school board seat.

I’m fairly sure nothing will happen to them. But I feel they should be suspended without pay.

Taxpayer resources and taxpayers’ time stolen by political activists posing as educators, and a chance for a true taxpayers’ voice to be heard in local education policymaking lost. Great day for former lunchroom tattle tales and neighborhood snitches.

In this age when computers, email, and internet are an essential part of everyday school instruction, those in education must be very careful about what they are doing with these resources.  If they cannot be trusted to use these resources appropriately, how can they do their jobs? And if they are using these resources for political purposes, what else might they be doing that is inappropriate?
