At the beginning Mayor Jackson wanted to make a statement. She then proceeds to start ripping the Board (Ted, Pat & Nick) and rambling about how her, Cheryl and Eileen were just trying to bring business and jobs to Endicott (With a freakin INCINERATOR), and pretty much everyone in the Village are idiots. She droned on for a few more minutes, but she should have just said F-You to everyone on the call and called it a night!. Because that's what she was doing!! Before the hearing of callers, she said she was muting her microphone so as not to be an interference with the speakers. And now, come to find out, her and Eileen never made it back to the meeting for the vote on rescinding the Local Law regarding recycling! AND, apparently someone caught a glimpse of the two of them drinking during the meeting while they were still visible. This person then called the Police to to report these two "wizards" for drinking on the job. YIKES!!!! You just cannot make this shit up folks!!! They got together and we’re drinking wine during the meeting, on camera. They also had their microphone off and were chatting and laughing and playing on their phones during the public hearing. At one point several residents asked how Linda Jackson could be impeached and removed from office. The village attorney refused to answer the questions. And Linda Jackson also said she had been texting the village attorney all night. What was she saying? Shouldn’t that communication be made public so is residents can see what communication the mayor was having with the attorney during a village board meeting? Former Democrat Posted February 2, 2021 Report Share Posted February 2, 2021 Then at 10:30pm Action Jackson (Mayor Linda Jackson) was heard on the meeting telling Trustee Eileen Konecny "it's too late to keep drinking".
