I spend the afternoon listening to 770 wabc...The original Excellence In Broadcasting station for Rush. I remember back in those early days all of the crazy New Yorkers would call in and say there was no EIB building in NYC and there was no such thing as a golden microphone. Rudy Guiliani, Curtis Sliwa, Bill Bratton, I can't recall who else all had stories to tell from when Rush lived in NYC. I expect the mourning to continue through the rest of the week.
