I thought Korchak was supposed to have all this experience?  He's proven to be a total bozo.

Read the last paragraph of the Korchak 2019 statement. As it turns out it's Korchak who "is again demonstrating his lack of knowledge required to hold the position of District Attorney."

The most sacred of all elected positions is District Attorney. The DA has the power to take away any citizens freedom by making an arrest and/or prosecuting them. The DA, unlike police, has both powers of arrest and prosecution. The DA has few checks and balances. It's easy to fool a jury. Whomever runs that office must be completely ethical and transparent. Korchack must go.

It’s safe to say Korchak will be beat in a Democrat or Republican primary in 2023. It looks like he will run as a Democrat, but it’s still possible he tries to run as a Republican. No Republican officials are planning on endorsing Korchak for reelection.

What about the libertarian ticket ?

Because the Libertarian Party received so few votes in NY in 2020, it no longer has ballot access.  Meaning, it is still a party in NY, but their candidates do not have a spot on the ballot.  Same goes for the Independence Party. Right now there are only four parties with ballot access in NY:  Democratic, Republican, Conservative and Working Families. Korchak would have to run on one of those party lines.

Well with Korchak announcing his candidacy years in advance I’m sure there will be enough dirt on him to get him out
