2019: Korchak attacks Battisti for revealing name of Grand Jury Foreman. 2021: Korchak reveals name of Grand Jury Foreman

Recommended Posts

In 2019 Michael Korchak was very critical of Paul Battisti for revealing the name of the foreperson of a Grand Jury. Today Michael Korchak has done the same thing he attacked Battisti for.

I thought Korchak was supposed to have all this experience?  He's proven to be a total bozo.

Read the last paragraph of the Korchak 2019 statement. As it turns out it's Korchak who "is again demonstrating his lack of knowledge required to hold the position of District Attorney."

Korchak has no one to blame for this cluster fuck but himself. That copy of the indictment revealing the Grand Jury foreperson’s name came directly from the DA’s office.  I guess protecting the identities of grand jurors is only an issue when Korchak is running for office.

Of course Korchak would fail to protect the identity and safety of a grand juror. Just over a week ago his investigator Ingrid S. posted death threats on Facebook to the Cuomo family. These people are the lowest of the low. Despicable.

The most sacred of all elected positions is District Attorney. The DA has the power to take away any citizens freedom by making an arrest and/or prosecuting them. The DA, unlike police, has both powers of arrest and prosecution. The DA has few checks and balances. It's easy to fool a jury. Whomever runs that office must be completely ethical and transparent. Korchack must go.

It’s safe to say Korchak will be beat in a Democrat or Republican primary in 2023. It looks like he will run as a Democrat, but it’s still possible he tries to run as a Republican. No Republican officials are planning on endorsing Korchak for reelection.

Because the Libertarian Party received so few votes in NY in 2020, it no longer has ballot access.  Meaning, it is still a party in NY, but their candidates do not have a spot on the ballot.  Same goes for the Independence Party. Right now there are only four parties with ballot access in NY:  Democratic, Republican, Conservative and Working Families. Korchak would have to run on one of those party lines.

Well with Korchak announcing his candidacy years in advance I’m sure there will be enough dirt on him to get him out
