Not surprising

Will the people who paid $250 for tickets be getting their money back?

Yes on Saturday people were using the side of the road as a toilet. They had no choice. It was just as bad as the Bon Jovi Dicks Open nightmare.

But what about reimbursements to people who ruined their clothes, or had accidents in their cars, because we couldn’t get to bathrooms?

Mail to Garnar with a receipt for reimbursement

It sounds like the long line and lack of bathrooms were a serious problem. Based on all the comments, it sounds like there’s shit all over the top of the mountain in Maine.

I didn't think much planning went into the air show, and there wasn't much hype.  After I read about the US Air Force Thunderbirds, I would have thought there would be a lot more publicity over them being in Broome County.  So my thought was there wasn't enough planning that went into this show.  And reading this thread confirms that.  I don't think Broome County government and the airport in 2021 can support a show of that magnitude.  The airport has been failing for many years.  Broome County government has proven to be incompetent over and over again.  And it looks like people's basic needs weren't met.  Aside from the show being canceled on Sunday, it sounds like Saturday's show was the real issue.

If the show lost money, and my tax dollars have to make up for the losses, I'm going to have a major problem with this.

John, on Twitter, is asking if the County had insurance covering weather related losses (ie. refunds, human waste cleanup). If this was missed, heads need to roll.
