Nurse killer Hochul at school of nursing opening

Anyone else think it's demonically ironic that, of all people, Satan's daughter Hochul who has delighted in nurses getting shitcanned for not consenting to be lab rats was celebrated by local media for attending the grand opening of the BU College of Nursing? And of course, she was accompanied by less-than-useless Donna Lupardo, who has managed to turn an Assembly seat into a no-show job for herself. It's the ultimate F-U to nurses to have Andy in a Wig and Dress show up to celebrate a college that will train the next generation of nurses she can fire for not bowing and kissing her ring.

Tish James should throw her in jail for endangering the welfare of seniors. You can not believe the shit these nursing homes are getting away with. If you have a loved one in their care you'd better get a weight status and watch for signs and symptoms of dehydration. Uptick across the state of orders for CLYSIS. Missing meals and unavailable appropriate snacks and nourishments is a big one. Cheap Bastards.

There isn't enough help to feed.

For those of you who don't know...CLYSIS is a way to give fluids without accessing a vein.

Hochul is evil. Every single bit as evil as her predecessor. She actually seems to delight in being the reincarnated Eva Braun. And of course, do nothing Donna made sure she was there for the photo opp. How that woman has managed to keep a career in state government is an unsolvable mystery. She should literally change her name to Rubber Stamp. And our media around here, fawning over Hochul and continuing to pump out the fear porn is a disgrace. An embarrassment to journalism and a disgrace.

Ginger you have me scared. My mother is in residence at The Good Shepherds Nursing home and a couple of weeks ago the cook walked off of the job so peanut butter and jelly with canned soup was the food for the evening. They did not have a certified cook  for a few days so we all brought my mother meals. For months the staff has been quitting and the home is running on bare bones.  I don't know how many times my mother or other residents have had their personal items stolen. The staff makes the residents think they put the items away and their losing their memories. It's almost like they pic their employees off the street with little training and after the employees have the pic of the residence personal items, the workers quit the job. By the way GS is on covid lockdown AGAIN and the nursing resident home never even called up to let us know they were on covid lockdown. Families don't say much to the administrators because they the administrators and staff are told to " find fault" with the residents then find an excuse to ship the residents off to another one of these elder killer places to put them in.

Unfortunately, since there was no response when Cuomo killed thousands of nursing home residents, this is just a continuation of what he started.  Take Mom or Dad home or have them die in the nursing home.  This is nothing more than a later term abortion.

One of the constant warnings about abortion was that if you can kill the beginning of life,  then you can kill at the end of life.

OMG MADD, no one is trying to get rid of your Mom...I bet she's a doll. :) When a patient is so dangerous to themselves or other residents accommodations have to be made. For Example..I think I mentioned last week I was at a facility where the supervisor had a new admit..she came in with a spit mask and gloves on. THIS IS UNPRECEDENTED FOR A NORMAL NURSING HOME. It was impossible for the staff to safely give care and she scared the bejesus out of her roommate. She was very paranoid. I never did follow up to find out what in the world the director of admissions was thinking but she was transferred to another facility post haste.

Nursing homes are trying to streamline and shut down units due to lack of staff. In Rochester, I heard there are about 60 people in hospitals that need a nursing home beds but none are available. Dehydration, Failure to Thrive and falls...

The nursing home business itself has burned their last bridges with a lot of the very dedicated nurses and staff. Kathy Hochul has hammered the nail in the coffin. I find it hilarious on twitter all of the busy bodies think nurses and nurse assistants can not find work outside of their training. "Get vaxed or lose your job!" "I don't want an unvaxxed nurse caring for my mom!" These broads are tough...and they work...like me, they'll find something else to do.

Something else Kathy Hochul doesn't know..all of those nurses in that brand new nursing school..you think they are staying in NYS, think again....they're outta here on graduation day.

Contact Tracers working for the initiative get $27 an hour.  It is not a permanent job but it has been extended 3 times, now to 3/31/2022.

Supervisors get even more.  It helps to be a nurse if you are a supervisor.

There is a ton of under the table work as well...my sister in law is certified in nothing but she's smart, is a natural at caring for people, dependable, trustworthy and a worker. She is booked solid..she does not live in NYS....she's making money hand over fist.

Ginger, my mother is a retired RN. She did private duty for years then worked at Lourdes as head nurse on the orthopedic floor until she retired. From there at age 70 she was a volunteer nurse manager at The Veterans Administration and believe it or not she has all her marbles ( hehe) and a quick wit and nursing knowledge about her. She went into GS when she started falling at her home into the late 80's. She is headed for her 100th birthday and she is not a frail old gal. She's not some whiny senile old ladies either. For her having to pay such a price to stay there she should be treated like royalty. She was a nurse during WW2 in the military. We knew to the day would come when we would have to be involved in her care and we all wanted her to live with us but she wanted to be independent and she thought we would get in her way. She is one tough cookie. I am keeping an eye on everything that's happening at GS and I have even wanted to put camera's in her room just to see who is stealing from her. In the meantime I think the over 2 thousand she is paying out of pocket should provide nice surf and turf meals once a week. Thank you for posting what you did Ginger. Lets hope more eyes are opened to the scoundrels who take advantage of our elderly.

😊 The nurse's nurse! One time a WWII nurse told me I'll make a good wartime nurse...lol...I still keep cheat sheet protocol for treating radiation exposure in my wallet.
