WolfMan
I dislike our current POTUS as much as anyone who does, but what is so hard to understand that as long as it was not a threat to lives, that due to its’ size they HAD to wait until it was not over land. Because he knew about its days in advance, that's when it should have been taken down. Not after it went from one end to the other. The guys a epic failure. ginger
Agree^. Can't control the borders, can't control infectious disease from escaping biolabs, can't control our airspace. Another Huge FAIL.

By design So, you are saying shoot it down after it left Canadian airspace, where falling debris can potentially kill somebody or severely damage property? (Remote, but still possible). It’s not like it was a missile which WOULD cost lives if allowed to strike land. They made the right call.
Bo Marsh
It isn’t just this Administration that let it happen. Trump too. Just shoot it down when it’s over Canada. No one much there anyway. As Rodney Dangerfield once said - “CANADA! CANADA! They started a Country and nobody showed up!”

They knew where it was entering our airspace. Our airspace defense systems went batshit. But here you are, making excuses. By the way if your worried ABOUT LIVES, MAYBE LOOK AT THE JAB AND THE MANDATES FOR IT.

Alaska is the most massive large mass in the U.S and almost all uninhabited. Unless you were worried it might hit a bear.
