Statewide Cheerleading Championship, scheduled for Parade Day at Arena????

Who's the MORON who scheduled the NYSPHSAA Cheerleading Championship for PARADE DAY at the Arena? Cheerleaders and families from all over the state will be in town.  First of all there will be no parking for them in downtown Binghamton.  Second, their impression of Binghamton will be thousands of drunken rowdies puking and urinating in the streets.

Why on earth would this event be schedule for Parade Day in Binghamton?  If it was going to be in this area, at least have it at BU so the families are away from the craziness of downtown, and there is parking.

This is a disaster waiting to happen!

Not ideal at all but they’ve had STAC boys hoops playoffs at The Arena on Parade Day as well as the Sens/Devils had games scheduled there too back in the say.

By your own posted info the cheerleading event started hours before the parade. They’ll have no problem with parking.
