Well Happy Thanksgiving to all! We're celebrating a day early, which is fine with me. The turkey just went in. I really didn't want a 21 lb turkey but that's all that was left.

Nice to see a lot of my neighbors have beat the cold and decorated their homes early. I've a few more things in the kitchen to do then might try to at least pull out the porch stuff.

Wishing all of you a safe, happy holiday season....

🤗...from now on our troubles will be miles away...

Thousands in Binghamton are relying on free meals.

I believe it. I read something like 52% to 84%of our population in the triple cities is existing below the poverty line. Mother Theresa said, the greatest poverty is rather the feeling of being unwanted.

For decades, our area has been neglected and decimated, no thanks to Democrats. As if , SUNY is the only thing that exists.

Once again, I've appealed to the president to move the federal EXIM bank to Binghamton. Every president since Obama says they want to decentralize Washington DC. This is one self sufficient organization that, through the magic of electronics can actually operate away from there.

On another note, our government seems to think $58 can feed 10 people for Thanksgiving. That's a stretch. They had 1 can of peas and 1 gallon of milk on the list. I used 3.5 cups of milk just to make a chocolate cream pie. Pudding was $3.00, Pie shell $2.00, Coolwhip, $2.00. Heavy cream cost twice the price of Cool Whip!

The government alloted 1 pumpkin pie, for ten people. Do they not know it's 8 servings?

In any event, I'm hoping everyone has somebody to share the holiday with. I know of 2 people who are suffering with no family right now..one is my brother...we're still suffering from the death of our mother. Everyone is too far away.

Best wishes to all. Have a cozy Thanksgiving. 🙂
