[Guest Time to act]

After watching the Binghamton City Council make arses out of themselves the time to act has been presented to all. A new council, barely out of the blocks, pretends to speak for all of the people and votes for the impeachment of the President of the United States. Granted the present President may be a boob but the Binghamton City Council has not cleared up all of the problems in the City to posture itself as a godhead speaking for all of its' residents. We also found out that the administration did not pay its insurance bill on time resulting in some DPW workers being subjected to embarrassment and inability to fill needed prescriptions.

 

Now is the time to act people.

 

This neo-socialist regime seated in city hall, pretends to speak for all of Binghamton. It gave the city budget away to the Fire department yet fights the police and other workers. This is gross incompetence !!! This is why a vote of NO CONFIDENCE must be presented to this administration. I say since it is primary day, each and everyone of you going to vote, ask that you be allowed to make a written statement stating that you feel this administration has failed in its ability to do its job and has failed to protect the people and has failed to uphold its sworn duties. This action must be strong, bi-partisan and also be taken to the state and federal level. These are not democrats, these are socialists running the show and they are not in it for the people but they are in it for their own agenda.

The lethargic middle and upper classes abdicated their civic responsibilities and stayed home on elections days thinking it doesn't matter while Matt Ryan, Mary Clark and Citizen Action were assisted by the local "news" media in duping the general public and mobilizing an imported welfare class to highjack local elections.

 

They will do it again because not enough people care yet.

 

Apparently it will take more taxes, more crime and the complete undermining of the City of Binghamton and its way of life before the general public wakes up.

I'm still somewhat in shock. I turn on the TV this morning and the first two things I learn - on Super Tuesday - is that City Council has spent time (no, wasted time) on a resolution of impeachment, followed by the DPW story. I'm not sure which is more surreal to me ... the combo Eli Manning near-sack pass to helmet-catcher David Tyree? Or this morning's news?

 

Folks, please move on. We have a state focused on the future with the polls open today. I'm not a huge fan of this president, myself, but I implore you to stop wasting time. This president has but a few more months and you have to know your impeachment effort is meaningless. In fact, like a friend who feels embarrassed for someone making a fool of themselves at a party, I'm asking that you hunker down now and finally, make some positive changes for our city.

 

You have a long way to go in your terms. Remember, you can change the world more, and alienate fewer, by affecting positive change right here in your back yard.

 

Meanwhile, if you want to run for Congress, I believe that right is yours.
