George Soros and the rest of the moneyed socialists have officially launched their campaign of lies to get the president they want. If they can get the lie out there now that there is a recession, by November it will have penetrated the brains of enough fat, happy, clueless morons that (probably) Obama will walk into the White House. This is all about the people who are trying to reshape America into a socialist utopia getting the puppet president that they need to implement their agenda. Guest Guest_Guest
Gotta love how the local conservative retards try to explain how GWB's constant DELETED ups are the Democratic party's fault. Dude above me is probably a Ron Paul (joke of a nominee) supporter as well as someone who regrets wasting their vote on GWB and as a result, has to bash the other party because of their own insecurities... Yes, I'm sure every news outlet in the US that reported on the recent downturn in the nationwide housing market is all in on the Grand Conspiracy. We're all better off with clueless Presidents whose response to be attacked is to invade nations that had nothing to do with the attack. Do you get it yet? GWB has made the US weaker economically by mortgaging our future away with his enormous "war" debts. If al qaeda knows anything, they know that the best and most effective place to hit any Western nation is where it will hurt the most...in the economic solar plexus. GWB is playing right into their hands over time. His policies are bankrupting the US. Instead of spending money securing our ports and borders and making us truly safer, he invades some other nation. Isn't it funny that talk of a recession is about electing a Dem, but handing out tax "rebate" checks a few months before the election isn't? I can smell the hypocrisy from here. Aphoristically Moderate
According to Mellody Hobson, Good Morning America's financial contributor, we won't know if we entered a recession until we're in one. Look at what happened a few days ago, when the unemployment numbers came out last week. The USA lost 17,000 jobs. It was the first time that had happened in 4 years. Nobody had predicted that would happen. By the same logic, we won't know if a recession has officially started until the numbers roll in... probably in April. If anyone has paid attention to the news over the last several years, they may remember how the "economists" have all been so surprised about how STRONG the economy has been. They have all been predicting a recession for years. They've been wrong. Well, maybe it's finally happening... maybe not. The stock market does have a habit of crashing months before a recession actually arrives. Does today's performance indicate a recession is coming?? It was down 2.9% today, but we saw a bigger dump back in August, and then it came back. Scott
