Bee
So Bee would you please watch again. And when she gets to the point of explaining her actions of discriminating against the white folks, the Black crowd breaks into applause and cheer. Now would that be that they could read her mind and knew she might change her tone to one of remorse or might it be they where being raciest pigs cheering the putting down of the white man??????? They do not break into applause and cheer..

Guest Guest
Are you a very young person by any chance? Have you any knowledge of the founding of the NAACP? Perhaps if you better understood why it exists? It exists so black males can have their way with white women. It's like a trophy to them.

Good - so by your reasoning the bible references I listed are 'legitimate teachings' in the bible then. I don't make decisions based on skin color. That would be racist. Guest Guest
You want to know how I know that Sherrod isn't overly racist? That the video is out of context? That people are being overly critical over what she said? GLENN BECK, captain anti-liberal, anti-Obama, leader of Fox News has even said she was taken out of context. GB: Shirley Sherrod, is the next example. We didn't rush to condemn her. This is another seemingly "redistribution of wealth" woman — who I would bet that I vehemently disagree with on probably everything. But she asked for the rest of the tape to be heard, the farmers in the story backed her up. It was a turning point story. We defended her and said her side of the story demanded to be heard — because context matters. That's how we do things. But not how the administration does them. Instead of taking her at her word and waiting for the rest of the video, she was chewed up and spit out, all because: ---------- He say's hey she's taken out of context, and that the administration DELETED up... so yay for everyone. Aphoristically Moderate
It would be fun to be among those who have all day to come back here and post things all day long. I don't have time to listen to Ms. Sherrod's whole speech to the NAACP. I did have a chance to listen to some of it. It's a wonder she didn't put most of them to sleep. There is another controversial thing she DID say. It did get a rise out of her liberal audience. Listen to what she said about 23 minutes into her diatribe.... SHIRLEY SHERROD- "So that's when they made black people servants for life. That's when they put laws in place forbidding them to marry each other. That's when they created the racism that we know of today. They did it to keep us divided. And they -- it started working so well, they said, "Gosh, looks like we've come up on something here that can last generations." And here we are over 400 years later, and it's still working. What we have to do is get that out of our heads. There is no difference between us. The only difference is that the folks with money want to stay in power and, whether it's health care or whatever it is, they'll do what they need to do to keep that power, you know. It's always about money, y'all." "You know, I haven't seen such a mean-spirited people as I've seen lately over this issue of health care. Some of the racism we thought was buried. Didn't it surface? Now, we endured eight years of the Bush's and we didn't do the stuff these Republicans are doing because you have a black President." What sort of crap is that..? coming from someone who is already on the taxpayer's payroll?? Now she's calling us racist !! Those of us who were against Obamacare knew it was a whole new entitlement. It is going to be ruinously expensive, in a few years, and we already don't have the money. It's almost as if what Glen Beck says is possibly true. Obama (and the people whom he surrounds himself with) truly resent America as it is. Do they really want to collapse it and rebuild it according to their far left vision? Is it racist to say we don't have the money for Obamacare?? It's going to cost trillions!! After listening to her speech in context, I don't have any more sympathy for her than I did 3 days ago. With an attitude like that, she should stay in obscurity. Getting her job back is better than she deserves. Scott It's not about "power." It's not about racism. It's about keeping what you rightfully earned. Americans are not about endless entitlement Shirley.
Guest The Last Patriot
Who told you that? Beck? No one has to tell us how weak Obama is, it's quite obvious. Just look at his record. Look at how he handled the oil crisis. Four! Need a bigger straw Obama? Look at his foreign policy...the ones that are backstabbing our former allies. Look at his failed programs here. But one thing is for sure, he is very strong when it comes to his support of Islam. Wonder how that NASA (aka Muslim outreach program) is going? Are you Muslims feeling all fuzzy inside now! Do we really want our tax money going to this!!!!! He sure is strong on racial divide in this country. He sure is strong to make quick unsupported judgments leading to more embarassment and plastic apologies. Stupid cops! He sure is strong when it comes to his radical racist buds! Hi ya Rev Wright, Black Panthers, NAACP, Acorn...just how many are there!!!! Obama is a travisty and disgrace not only to the world but but to everyone in America who has ever given their life so that we can enjoy the freedoms that this anti un-American, American Flag hating, Pledge of Allegiance hating, Christian hating, economy destroying, muslim loving, Constitution hating, radical, racist, socialist liar wants to rob us of. Anyone who votes for this pathetic excuse for a leader is insane. And you libs can kiss my rear end. You caused this monster to be created! Guest guest
Who told you that? Beck? Here................ read it yourself. Ousted official Shirley Sherrod blamed Fox, but other outlets ran with story Washington Post Staff Writer Thursday, July 22, 2010 The White House spokesman and the agriculture secretary weren't the only ones offering regrets Wednesday to the lower-level official abruptly fired over a videotape excerpt that turned out to be totally misleading. Bill O'Reilly apologized to Shirley Sherrod as well. But for all the chatter -- some of it from Sherrod herself -- that she was done in by Fox News, the network didn't touch the story until her forced resignation was made public Monday evening, with the exception of brief comments by O'Reilly. After a news meeting Monday afternoon, an e-mail directive was sent to the news staff in which Fox Senior Vice President Michael Clemente said: "Let's take our time and get the facts straight on this story. Can we get confirmation and comments from Sherrod before going on-air. Let's make sure we do this right." Sherrod may be the only official ever dismissed because of the fear that Fox host Glenn Beck might go after her. As Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack tried to pressure her into resigning, Sherrod says Deputy Under Secretary Cheryl Cook called her Monday to say "do it, because you're going to be on 'Glenn Beck' tonight." And for all the focus on Fox, much of the mainstream media ran with a fragmentary story that painted an obscure 62-year-old Georgian as an unrepentant racist. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...0072106708.html What do posters say here? Oh yeah: "READ MORE, POST LESS". @
