Guest Guest
A train has hit a car at the :S: bridge on Conklin Ave. 11pm Friday night. Avoid the area.
Guest ??
The bridge is above the tracks. How does that happen?? Did the car fall on the tracks? Did the car drive down to the tracks? Did the train get amazing powers and fly up to the "S" curve and take out the car. The OP does not make sense.

I was driving on Conklin Road, coming into Binghamton when I saw red flashing lights. People all around. A train under the bridge had a mangled car up against the front of the train. Can't explain it, just know what I saw.
Guest Guest
It was on the other side of Conklin Road from Sandy Beach. Do you think that trains stop on a dime?
Guest Guest
Do you think that trains stop on a dime? No, I am NOT an idiot! I was just wondering how far the train carried the car. Where would the nearest crossing for cars be from there. Just surprised there has been no news coverage.
