We had $35,000 for a study commissioned by Matt Ryan for Justin Woods that was thrown out before it was made public. We had money ($34,000 per year) for a Community Relations Director who is not even from the community. We had money ($32,000 per year) for a Youth Director who does nothing. We had money ($70,000 per year) to move two code enforcement officers off the Community Development Block Grant to make way for a Blight Coordinator and Sustainable Development Coordinator allowing Matt Ryan and Tarik Abdelazim to claim the Blight coordinator and Sustainable Development Coordinator are not being paid for by Binghamton taxpayers. We had $5000 per month to pay the management company of The Regency Hotel. ($60,000 so far and counting) We had $75,000 to pay for a municipal wifi system that is doomed to fail and will cost $30,00 every year it operates. We failed to charge The O'Neil Ross Building owner’s take down the entire building and we now have $300,000 to spend to do that. We had enough to money give 134 firefighters a 14% increase for the next four years paying about $2,000,000 per year more than we need to. We had enough money to take about $200,000 to $400,000 less for The Regency Hotel that we could have gotten. We had enough money to give Tarik Abdelazim an $8000 per year raise. We have enough money to pay other Ryan appoints $1000 each per year in raises. We apparently have enough money to spend $1,600,000 for a Riverwalk extension into nowhere. We have enough money to build a $4,000,000 Court Street Roundabout that will steal green space, cost parking spaces and make downtown a pedestrian no-man’s land.
