Was this another lie, Hillary?

Recommended Posts

Last week, it was how she dodged bullets in Bosnia, which was immediately refuted by the Washington Post, and then by everyone else.

Yesterday, we heard her story about a pregnant mother who was denied access to a hospital because she didn't have any insurance. Hillary lamented about how there were no hospitals in this woman's area anymore, and how she had to travel far and wide to find one, only to be denied entrance because the hospital wanted proof of payment first. The hospital was probably run by greedy Republicans, by the way.

“The next time she came back to the hospital, she came in an ambulance,” Mrs. Clinton continued. “She was in distress. The doctors and the nurses worked on her and couldn’t save the baby."

Since Hillary has no credibility, anyone who heard it just had to wonder, "I wonder if any of this is true.?"

Well, it turns out that it isn't.

"The woman, Trina Bachtel, did die last August, two weeks after her baby boy was stillborn at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens, Ohio. But hospital administrators said Friday that Ms. Bachtel was under the care of an obstetrics practice affiliated with the hospital, that she was never refused treatment and that she was, in fact, insured."

We implore the Clinton campaign to immediately desist from repeating this story,” said Rick Castrop, chief executive officer of the O’Bleness Health System.

"A Clinton spokesman, Mo Elleithee, said candidates would frequently retell stories relayed to them, vetting them when possible. “In this case, we did try but were not able to fully vet it,” Mr. Elleithee said. “If the hospital claims it did not happen that way, we respect that.""

Notice how the Hillary spokesman lumps Hillary in with everyone else here as if all candidates, "frequently retell stories relayed to them."

You say Hillary has no credibility. The you use the New York Times as a source. Most people think they don't have any credibility either.
