Lambe struck out nine and allowed just one hit. Pat Talbut and Eric Preisendanz each tossed scoreless innings for Vestal to finish the shutout. Vestal was limited to two hits, but one was a two-run homer by Jamie Butler in a three-run second inning that turned a 1-0 lead into a 4-0 advantage.
