Guest Guest Posted April 9, 2008 Report Share Posted April 9, 2008 A 37-year-old Endicott man has been charged with a felony in the theft of copper wire valued at $14,000 from the New York State Electric and Gas Corp. facility at 4425 Vestal Road. Danny E. Travis, of Jackson Avenue, Endicott, was being held in the Broome County Jail without bail awaiting grand jury action, according to Vestal Police Department Lt. John Taylor. The charge was part of the department’s ongoing investigation into reported scrap metal and copper thefts in the Town of Vestal, Taylor said. The theft occurred between Dec. 29, 2007, and Jan. 2, police said. Travis was arraigned Tuesday before Town of Vestal Justice Joseph Meagher. Which Nalepa was involved in this idiotic theft?
