dingbat
I have had the same 3 deer in my yard all winter. They just passed through and all 3 of them had bloody marks on the insides of their "knees" on their back legs. All 3 also had white bands on their left hind legs. I have never seen this before and I have watched them all winter. Got any ideas???
Guest Guest
Dingbat, it is possible that these deer were released by either a wildlife rehabilitator or a conservation officer after being "nursed back to health from an injury". I am friends with a wildlife rehabilitator and have placed a call to her, I will let you know if I find anything out.
dingbat
I am not sure, but I doubt it. I have watched these same 3 all season. I saw them yesterday or the day before and they had no marks on them. All 3 had the same marks on them, I highly doubt those are injuries.
