Neighborhood Disassembly
Here's some news you CAN read about on the new Press website: http://www.pressconnects.com/apps/pbcs.dll...tId=personaDest Wow!! This is looking like the hottest "economic development" activity in town right now. (Lobsters BEWARE!)
Tax&Spend
Well, you can understand the $15,171.66 from various Maines entities and $12,026.00 from assorted Newman companies but $10,250.00 from the Enterprise Rent-a-Car PAC ? (I guess they do "pick you up" -- BIG TIME!) Of course, the Press doesn't highlight most of this in their web site coverage, nor do they mention $3,125.00 from the B-Sens and one of their owners or $2,035.00 from the B-Mets. Even "tightwad" Edward G. not allowed of 84 Court Street, Binghamton and his "why-oh-why wifi buddy" BU Adjunct Lecturer Angelo Mastrangelo each gave $500.00. (So, they DO AGREE on something!) But, uh oh, what's Mayor Ryan going to say when he sees that his Assistant Director of Planning, Housing & Community Development is also on this list? Should be verrrrrrry interesting! Ryan isn't going to say a single thing about the Assistant Director of Planning Housing, & Community Development. He's one of the 3 competent administrators left standing in the Hall. If Ryan ticks him off and he leaves that would place Jim Dessauer in the very very uncomfortable and unwanted position of having to actually run an office that he's never taken the time to know about, except of course, for the feel good nonsense like youth development and gardens. Also, he would then have to be in the office a little bit more than 3 hours a day; 4 days a week. Ryan and his sidekick Abdelazim know this to be true. Actually, the Asst. Director should probably consider volunteering to be on the Libous re-election committee in the hopes of getting out of that City Hall circus and further associating himself with these crazy left wing Bolsheviks.
