Guest Elroy Face
U.E. grad Jim Johnson came in to squelch a Tampa rally in the 9th inning by retiring both hitters he faced in the heart of the lineup. Pena and Longoria. Johnson is unscored upon in 14 and two third innings. Hitters are batting a miniscule 111 against him. Jim Palmer said the scouts are raving about the late movement on his pitches this year, Johnson made his stride longer and the results are amazing.
