The Boston Celtics new "Big Three" of Garnett, Allen & Pierce are proving themselves to be not so big in the playoffs after all. Certainly no Bird, Parish, & McHale here. To all those faithful Celtic fans who have been patiently waiting for the past 22 years, I fear that the wait will have to continue. Their best record season was based primarily upon their extremely stingy defense coupled with an average scoring ability. Thus far in the playoffs however, the defense is still pretty good, but they simply can't get consistent & effective scoring, especially in the 4th quarter. Doc Rivers appears confused at times, and it mostly shows with his player selections & substitutions. Boston has now been exposed as a playoff 'lite" team that they are and it will probably end up a Lakers-Pistons finals.

Rivers can't coach, but the Celtics will beat the Cavs anyway and then get past the Pistons to the NBA Finals.
