I think it's because junior is usually in the back of the pack so his car DOES NOT get sponsorship notice. In other words, the TV Camera is usually pointed towards the front of the pack, rather than the back. Junior has to be one of the worst drivers in the series!!! Jr surely hasn't axactly lived up to the hype, but he is the most popular driver in the series and that equals sponsor dollars. This is just indicative of the market.
