Stretch Posted February 16, 2008 Report Share Posted February 16, 2008 12-YEAR-OLD DEATH RULED HOMICIDE A 22-year-old Endwell man was charged with manslaughter after Broome County Sheriffs say he caused the death of his 12-year-old brother after a physical altercation between the two. Sheriffs say Peter Munck, 12 of 228 Hastings Avenue in Endwell died due to internal abdominal bleeding as a result of physical trauma. Sheriffs say Peter Munck had been dead since Wednesday. Two other other people had been in the home with him. One of the persons was Munck's older brother Shawn. Sheriffs say Shawn exerted extreme pressure to Peter's mid section with his foot causing internal injuries. Peter died several hours later. Shawn Munck has been charged with manslaughter in the second degree, a class C felony. He is being arraigned in the Town of Union Court and remanded to the Broome County Jail without bail.
