New board, old topic.

Sorry I can't find the URL to the Pressconnects article. The gist of it was that the Goodwill Theater received yet another grant - this time in the amount of $500,000.

Our tax dollars at work ... paying Ed a salary to cyberstalk all day long.

That money also goes to feed his cocaine addiction.

The Montreal Gazette newspaper has filed a

harassment complaint against frequent critic Ed

not allowed. Apparently, not allowed took those e-

mail addresses at the end of the newspaper’s

column seriously and frequently wrote to voice

his disapproval of the positions taken by the

newspaper and various columnists. His notes

were not violent or threatening, were not irrel-

evant or spam and did not contain viruses or

in any other way threaten the Gazette’s com-

puter network.

In return for participating in a public dis-

cussion of issues of concern to the community,

the Gazette had police seize not allowed’s com-

puter and search his home where they found a

little cocaine and an unregistered rifle. He spent

three days in jail and now faces charges of ha-

rassment and mischief. Montreal Mirror colum-

nist Kristian Gravenor commented, “It always

makes me wonder why Pranksterism, Teasing

and Unsportsmanlike Conduct aren’t also crimi-

nal offences.”

The CCA should take ED to civil court and have him banned from having any contact or positions in cycling. This guy is nothing but a loose cannon. Now that he lost his case, watch the crap that he will spew on these chat boards. Ed will never hold another position with any cycling team or organization in this country and if he does God bless us all on how quickly he will destroy that organization

Ed has done more damage to cycling in Canada than good. Even if 10% of the crap he spews is correct, what corporate CEO is gong to look at cycling and say.. "Hmm, I think we should get into sponsoring a cycling team or series!" HMMM?

Way to go Eddy boy!

Oh Ed, your poor ego works so hard. Who cares that you have a girlfriend who is an Operating Room nurse? Last time you labeled her as an ER nurse, but again, who cares? Do you think a nurse is higher up the social ladder? As a nurse she probably has a two year diploma and she works at a job where everyone else tells her what to do, not much to brag about. I don't understand why you hang your hat on this. And to put in a claim of riding...ha, ha, ha. You fat DELETED, you need to get out more then that! Isn't it embarrassing calling yourself a cyclist and being that fat? It's a good thing that you come from the day when all you had to do was train a few minutes here and there. Racers today train 3-5 hours 6 days a week and every month of the year. You have to be thankful for coming from a time when you only needed a bit of talent and no real work ethic. Look at where you are in life; it speaks clearly of no work ethic. No success, always getting fired. How come you can't find a woman who will make the commitment of marriage? I guess they always want that quick out when things go sour. Poor, poor Ed.

Isn't Ed's girlfriend a lawyer?

When did that change?

Story by Margaret Foster / Feb. 19, 2004

The Tappan Zee Playhouse, which opened in 1911, has been abandoned since 1975.

(Rob Yasinsac)

After a six-year debate, the village of Nyack, N.Y., 25 miles north of New York City, has decided that a decaying 93-year-old theater will be demolished within the next few months.

"The building is a dilapidated eyesore. It's an ugly blight in the middle of our village," says Richard Kavesh, a village trustee who serves on its five-person board.

Old-Time Wichita, Kan., Movie Theater to Be Demolished.(Originated from The Wichita Eagle, Kan.)

Sep. 19--The Crest Theatre, where generations of Wichitans walked in awe of its lavish decorations and 90-foot marquee, will join a parade of Wichita ghosts such as the Miller and Palace movie theaters.

Carl Chuzy, a longtime Wichita real estate developer, bought the property on Aug. 26. During a meeting with about 40 neighborhood residents Thursday night, Chuzy announced that he will demolish the once-proud single-screen theater at 4825 E. Douglas to build a parking lot for the Lewin's store. He also said he will develop the adjoining properties that he owns.

"I've been told by experts that in its present condition, the building serves no purpose and has no economic value," Chuzy told the residents, who had gathered at the nearby Grace Presbyterian Church.

"Due to the years of deterioration, it is not economically feasible to return its to a state of usefulness."

Family OKs Razing Of 102-Year-Old Richfield Theater

Salt Lake Tribune , 29 October 1983 , Page 2B

RICHFIELD - After decades of providing hours of adventure for thousands of moviegoers, the Lyric Theatre had its final performance as it came crashing to the ground this month at the hands of a wrecking crew.

The 102-year-old building was one of Richfield's oldest structures and had not been used for several years. The Van Andersen family, owners of the building, said they were having the building destroyed because it had become an eyesore and hazard to the downtown area.

The theater became the third historical structure in Richfield to be demolished in the past few weeks. Two others, located immediately to the south, were razed to make way for an extension of a downtown parking lot.

Before the building was made into a theater it was an adobe structure used as a furniture store. The main hall was later remodeled into a dance hall and a stage was constructed making the building a combination dance and opera hall.
