scams
We are trying to collect information about how many people may have been ripped off by Syracuse Warehouse Direct, Inc. They advertise on Cregslist and in the classified. They have different ways of advertising and they do not always mention the name of their enterprise. They usually are selling mattresses and foundations and other furniture-sometimes leather. They may promote NASA foam mattresses in their ads. They often will use terms like "Sacrifice" and "still in plastic". If you ordered from a warehouse or an outlet and you did not get what you ordered, please contact : Stopscams@live.com. We have the names and addresses of those involved and we are trying to see if there is any recourse for anyone how may have paid for things not delivered. They operate in Syracuse and Binghamton along with a few other upstate places (Watertown, Itha). We are not saying that they purposefully scammed but we are trying to find out if that is so and how many people may have paid them money for things they never got. Send your emails to stopscams@live.com . We will collect them and submit them to the NY Attorney General's office. Maybe there is recourse. Guest stopscams
How do we know if this isn't a scam? There really is no way to scam. You do not need to provide anything more than simply letting us know what the experience was that you had. If we get enough indication that there has been a widespread problem, we will pursue recourse. So this is simply a preliminary evaluation and obviously we would have to follow up further. We have involved the media and alerted authorities and if it appears warrented and we get enough of a response, we may ask for more specific information. At that point. if someone wants recourse they can be involved or they can choose to pursue things themselves.
