Guest Guest Posted February 22, 2008 Report Share Posted February 22, 2008 Binghamton Fall Arbitrons To Be Re-Issued Upon discovering that six FALL 2007 BINGHAMTON metro diaries were returned from a media-affiliated household, ARBITRON has announced that it will re-issue the book for that market. A revised FALL 2007 BINGHAMTON Radio Market Report (ARBITRON eBook) will be released on Thursday, Feb. 28th, at 10a ET. Without the six "tainted" diaries, the audience estimates for EQUINOX BROADCASTING Oldies WCDW and AC sister WRRQ is said to be "substantially affected." Guest Guest Posted February 23, 2008 Report Share Posted February 23, 2008 sounds like steve at magic hated losing to george at cool and used tejay and his wife lisa to turn in their friend with a diary to turn around and hurt his former station. some big bounce they got, cool went down anyway and q had a bounce, but anything is a bounce from nearly zero. what people should be asking is how with our aging population the whale and the bear both nearly disappeared from the ratings but kgb skyrocketed. who got diaries what? Tejay is much more classy than that. He doesn't have an ax to grind with anyone at COOl or Q. When he needed something, they were there to help. You obviously don't know Tejay as I do. As far as anyone reporting the stations, I was told it was very obvious that something was wrong. Guest Guest Posted February 23, 2008 Report Share Posted February 23, 2008 when were the ratings released? was tejay still employed at cool & q during the time of ratings? if you know him so well, was he aware of anyone doing anything suspect with the ratings and thats why he left or was he like the other employees hung out to dry by someone else? an affiliated household, do we know if that can be someone who knows someone and thought they'd be helping by listing the station more, but the station and its staff were unaware? someone shed some light on how all this works.
