Guest Guest
My husband makes some kick *** meatloaf. I love it. Use about 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef. Butter the sides of the pan. He mixes approximately a teaspoon of horseradish, two teaspoons of ketchup, half teaspoon mustard, mix together and spread on bottom of pan (so that it will be the topping, when meatloaf is done flip it out of the pan so bottom will actually be the top). Add to ground beef a little bit of Tony Chachere's creole seasoning, garlic powder, onion salt, 1/2 package of Lipton onion soup mix, chopped garlic and onions, crushed croutons (3/4 cups prior to crushing), one egg. Sometimes we put half of the beef mixture on the bottom of the pan, put a mixture of cheddar and montery jack cheese on top of that, then top with the other half of the beef mixture. Bake at 350 until done. We also use this mixture for hamburgers on the grill.
