Corning East based on past performance can play at any level. Although they did drop to C last year to avoid playing Huntington or John Jay in the states. Next year they have to play at B. Now Forks moved up to B last year to avoid East now will move down to C next year to avoid East and Vestal again. All they do is talk how good they are in section 4, but they'll be little pansies next year and drop to C to avoid an AW. Keep ducking the good teams guys. You beat up on Dryden and Oneonta next year boy's. Go get em'

Corning East 19, Forks 7: Tom Mandell had four goals and an assist for Corning East in the victory over visiting Chenango Forks (2-1). Matt Mirabito had two goals to lead the Blue Devils.

How to RUN section 4.

Can we now just move on?

None the less, they probably will rule Class B in Section 4.

Corning West is really the only other B team in the Section that can legitimately be labeled a favorite. Others can and might poke their nose into it and maybe even come way with the title, but right now Corning West and Forks probably in the drivers seat. C and A are locks, B is competitive.

east is and always has been a very good team. their program is very well organized and not many teams in the area can compete. on that note, i would like to point out that the vestal indoor team beat the east indoor team in the league championship this year. not only that but perrotti, one of easts best weapons, was held in check by vestals defense which included an 8th grader. as a member of the vestal team i love playing east, its always a great game and the anticipation of these games is always great. if you want to see some of the best lacrosse in the area go to either vestal vs. east game, they are always crowd pleasers
